2003/04/21 A Check Valve Is Used to Eliminate the Loss of Oil When the Hydraulic Filter Is Replaced {5051, 5067}

525B (S/N: 3KZ796 and 875-UP)
535B (S/N: AAE583-UP)
545 (S/N: 2FZ433 and 438-UP)

Description of Change: A new check valve, fitting, and tube assembly are now used between the hydraulic tank and the main hydraulic filter. This will eliminate the loss of oil when the main hydraulic filter is replaced.

The new 166-7380 Check Valve (1), 6V-8400 O-Ring Seal (2), 6V-9855 Elbow (3), and 230-3261 Tube As (4) were effective with the 525B S/N:3KZ972-UP
Wheel Skidders, the 535B S/N:AAE607-UP
Wheel Skidders, and the 545 S/N:2FZ439-UP
Wheel Skidders.

The new 166-7380 Check Valve (1), 6V-8400 O-Ring Seal (2), 6V-9855 Elbow (3) and 230-3261 Tube As (4) are adaptable to first production of the machines that are listed. The existing 218-0012 Tube As and 6V-9009 Elbow can be removed and replaced with the new parts. Refer to Table 1.
