Description of Change: New guards are now used for fan groups that are shown in Table 1. The new guards are structurally improved in order to increase service life.

Adaptable To: The new fan guards are effective with the following machines:

• D8R (S/N: 7XM5225-UP)

• 583R (S/N: 2XS567-UP)

The new fan guards are adaptable to the following machines:

• D7R (S/N: 2HR1-UP; 3ZR1-UP; 2EN1-UP; 5MR1-UP; 9HM1-UP; 4SR1-UP; 3DN1-UP; 6ER1-UP)

• D8R (S/N: 7XM1-5224; 9EM1-UP)

• 572R (S/N: AAC1-322; 2HZ1-395)

• 583R (S/N: 2XS1-566)

The part numbers of the fan guards are shown in Table 2. The new fan guards are a direct replacement for the former fan guards.
