Description Of Change: Improved power train software and controllers are now used. The improved power train software and controllers reduce system voltage to the parking brake solenoids, correcting a problem of the coils overheating.

Adaptable To: The improved power train software and controllers are effective in production with, and adaptable to the following machines.

Disconnect machine harness connector (1) from parking brake solenoid valve connector (3).
Disconnect machine harness connector (4) from parking brake solenoid valve connector (5).

Remove and discard bolt (2). Retain the nut and washers.

Install Item (6) through Item (11). Refer to Illustration 2 and Illustration 3.
Note: Use the nut and washers removed in Step 3.
Connect machine harness connector (1), disconnected in Step 1, to 459-7578 Harness As (10). Refer to Illustration 1 and Illustration 2.
Connect machine harness connector (4), disconnected in Step 2, to 459-7577 Harness As (11). Refer to Illustration 1 and Illustration 2.
Connect parking brake solenoid valve connector (3), disconnected in Step 1, to 459-7578 Harness As (10). Refer to Illustration 1 and Illustration 3.
Connect parking brake solenoid valve connector (5), disconnected in Step 2, to 459-7577 Harness As (11). Refer to Illustration 1 and Illustration 3.
Install the connectors on 130-5300 Clips (8) and secure all harnesses using 3S-2093 Cable Straps as required.
Install 473-9758 Power Train Software Gp. Go to SIS Web, "Service Software Files" to obtain the new power train software.
