- Weld Connection Block (8) on engine frame top RH rail at the location shown. Ensure that the Block is 103.5 ± 3 mm (4.07 ± 0.12 inch) (K) from top surface of engine frame right-hand rail side plate and flushed with the front surface of engine frame right-hand rail front plate). Confirm that the larger 1/4-18 NPTF tapped holes (L) on the Connection Block (8) face to the top of the machine while smaller 1/8-16 NPTF tapped holes (M) on Connection Block (8) face towards inside center of machine. Refer to Illustration 4.

- Secure Autolube Hoses (6) using five Clips (9) and retained Bolts (E) and Washers (F). Refer to Illustration 6.
- Install two shorter Autolube Hoses (7) as shown between Distribution Valve (C) at machine hitch area to Connection Block (8) on engine frame. Refer to Illustration 6.
- Install two new Clips (3) on shorter Autolube Hoses at machine hitch area. Reuse the bolts and washers retained from earlier removal of old configuration. Make sure that the left edge of green locating tape on shorter Autolube Hoses (7) aligns to the left edge of left hand Clip (3) at the machine hitch. This action will ensure maximum slack in the hoses at machine hitch for all articulation positions. Refer to Illustration 6.
- Cut Plastic Guard (10) into four equal pieces of 350 mm (13.78 inch) each. Install Plastic Guard (10) on two new shorter Autolube Hoses (7) at the locations (10a), (10b), (10c), and (10d). Refer to Illustration 7.
