The Precleaner mounting threads have changed from a through-hole to a molded insert with a 10 mm thread depth. Molded inserts are no longer through holes. Also, 289-6215 Cab Air Precleaner Gp wire leads exiting the housing has changed.

Use the following procedure in order to correct this problem.

Verify that the bolt length is correct before installing new Precleaner Groups.

For part 289-6215 Cab Air Precleaner Gp wire leads exiting the housing has changed, which might require rerouting wire harness to make electrical connection.
