A Guard For the Pivot Shaft Seal Is Now Used On the D11T {4151}
- Track-Type Tractor:
- D10 (S/N: 84W1-UP)
- D11N (S/N: 4HK1-UP; 74Z1-UP)
- D11R (S/N: AAF1-UP; 8ZR1-UP; 9XR1-UP; 7PZ1-UP)
- D11T (S/N: GEB1-UP; TPB1-UP)
Description of Change: A guard that will protect the top half of the pivot shaft seal is now used on the D11T. The guard is now available for the D10, D11N, and D11R. The guard will prevent debris from penetrating the top half of the pivot shaft seal. By guarding the top half of the seal, the guard will prevent material from getting trapped between the guard and the seal. This will extend the service life for the pivot shaft seal.
Adaptable To: The guard is effective with the following machines:
- D11T (S/N: GEB552-UP; TPB177-UP)
- D10 (S/N: 84W1075-UP)
- D11N (S/N: 4HK361-UP; 74Z235-UP)
- D11R (S/N: 7PZ286-UP; 8ZR297-UP; 9TR197-UP; 9XR149-UP; AAF132-UP)
- D11T (S/N: GEB552-UP; TPB177-UP)

Washer (4) is used between the spot face on casting (A) and plate (1). Tighten ten bolts (3) to 215 ± 40 N·m (158 ± 30 lb ft).
