Description of Change: New hardware and software have been developed in order to improve the life of the impeller clutch on the torque converter for 993K Wheel Loaders. The new hardware and software will prevent premature clutch failure due to high loads and temperatures.

A remanufactured oil cooler assembly is available. Part number 10R-8649

Refer to table 1 for the list of required parts that are needed before clutch failure has occurred or after clutch failure has occurred. When the hardware is changed, the software file needs to be installed. The software will work with either the new friction material or the old friction material. The new friction material requires the latest software files.

The new hardware and software are adaptable to the following machines:
