Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting and repair of the product. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids. Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, "AVSpare Tools and Shop Products Guide" for tools and supplies suitable to collect and contain fluids on AVSpare products. Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates. |
- Install Tooling (A) onto the front of the transmission. Install Tooling (B) onto the rear of the transmission. Attach a suitable lifting device onto Tooling (A) and Tooling (B). The weight of the transmission is approximately 499 kg (1100 lb).
- The transmission must be angled in order to install the transmission. Refer to Illustration 1. Install the transmission into the flywheel housing.

- Install bolts (31) into the top of the transmission.

- Connect hose assembly (32). Install bolts (31) into the bottom of the transmission.

- Install mounts (30) on both sides of the transmission. Install pin (28) for the parking brake onto arm (29) .

- Raise the transmission and remove the wood block.

- Install bottom bolts (27) on both sides of the transmission.

- Install mounting bolts (26) .

- Connect drive shaft (25) onto the transmission.

- Remove the suitable lifting device, Tooling (A) and Tooling (B) from the transmission.

- Install eight bolts (24). Rotate the engine in order to install bolts (24) .

- Install plug (23) on the left side of the flywheel housing.

- Install tube assembly (22) .

- Connect tube assemblies (21). Install bolts (20). Install new cable straps (19) .

- Connect hose assemblies (14). Install the clip and bolt (13). Connect harness assembly (12) and hose assembly (11) .

- Connect hose assembly (10). Install harness clip (9) and the bolt. Install a new cable strap (8) .

- Install panels (3) and (2) on each side of the machine.

End By:
- Install the hydraulic pump. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Piston and Vane Pump (Implement, Pilot, and Steering) - Install".
- Install the middle bottom guard. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Bottom Guards - Install".
- Install the cab. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Cab - Install".
