- Disconnect harness assembly (1).
- Remove fuel temperature sensor (2) and the O-ring seal.

- Install the O-ring seal on the fuel temperature sensor.
- Install fuel temperature sensor (2). Tighten the fuel temperature sensor to a torque of
20 ± 5 N·m (15 ± 4 lb ft) . - Connect harness assembly (1).

Note: Check the condition of the O-ring seal. If the O-ring seal is worn or damaged, use a new part for replacement.
