Keep all parts clean from contaminants. Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life. |
- Disconnect the harness assembly (2) from the inlet air temperature sensor (1).
- Remove the inlet air temperature sensor (1) from the cylinder head (3).
- Remove the O-ring seal from the inlet air temperature sensor. Discard the O-ring seal.

- Install a new O-ring seal on the inlet air temperature sensor (1). Lubricate the O-ring seal with clean engine oil.
- Install the inlet air temperature sensor (1) in the cylinder head (3). Tighten the inlet air temperature sensor to a torque of
20 N·m (15 lb ft) . - Connect the harness assembly (2) to the inlet air temperature sensor (1).
