Installation Procedure

1. Install bearing (10) and seal (8) into front track roller frame (9), if necessary.

2. Attach Tooling (A) and Tooling (C) to front track roller frame (9).

3. Position front track roller frame (9). The weight of front track roller frame (9) is approximately 385 kg (850 lb).

4. Use Tooling (C) in order to pull front track roller frame (9) into the original position.

5. Apply Tooling (D) to cover (7).

6. Position cover (7).

7. Install bolts (6). Tighten bolts (6) to a torque of 105 ± 20 N·m (77 ± 15 lb ft).

8. Repeat Steps 5 through 7 for opposite side.

9. Remove Tooling (A).

10. Install bolts (4).

11. Attach a suitable lifting device to master link (1). Install the cribbing.

12. Attach a suitable lifting device to the track, as shown.

13. Position the track.

14. Position track (3).

15. Apply Tooling (E) to bolts (2).

16. Install bolts (2). Tighten bolts (2) to a torque of 400 ± 70 N·m (295 ± 52 lb ft).

17. Remove the cribbing.

18. Adjust the track tension. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Track - Check/Adjust".
