Removal Procedure

  1. Turn the battery disconnect switch to the OFF position.

  2. Open access door (1).

  3. Remove nut (2) and cover (3).

  4. Remove cover (4).

  5. Disconnect cable assemblies (5) and (6).

  6. Disconnect cable assemblies (7) and (8).

  7. Use two people in order to remove batteries (9) and (10). The weight of batteries (9) and (10) is approximately 25 kg (55 lb).

Installation Procedure

  1. Use two people in order to install batteries (9) and (10). The weight of batteries (9) and (10) is approximately 25 kg (55 lb).

  2. Connect cable assemblies (7) and (8).

  3. Connect cable assemblies (5) and (6).

  4. Install cover (4).

  5. Position cover (3).

  6. Install nut (2).

  7. Close access door (1).

  8. Turn the battery disconnect switch to the ON position.
