Installation Procedure

1. Install heater core (16) in the original position.

2. Install the washers, bolts (18), and new seals (17) on both ends of the coil assembly.

3. Connect hose assemblies (14). The torque for the hose clamps is 4.5 ± 0.5 N·m (40 ± 4 lb in).

4. Install capillary tube (15) in coil assembly (13) between the second row and the third row. Insert the capillary tube to a depth of 230 ± 10 mm (9.1 ± 0.4 inch).

5. Install gaskets (12) in the original positions.

6. Install cover (10). Install the washers, the bolts, and screws (11).

7. Install air filter (9A). Install cover assembly (9). Install control knobs (8) in order to secure the air filter.

8. Install cover (7).

9. Install cover (5). Install the washers and bolts (6).

10. Install the insulation and rubber mat (4) on the cab floor.

11. Position cover (2), as shown. Connect wire (3).

12. Install cover (2) in the original position. Install screws (1).

13. Open valves (1A).

14. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual for the correct procedure.
