Start By:
- Remove the vane pump. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Vane Pump (Steering, Implement, and Pilot) - Remove".
Note: Put alignment marks on the pump prior to disassembly.
- Remove bolts (1) and pilot pump (2) .

Personal injury can result from being struck by parts propelled by a released spring force. Make sure to wear all necessary protective equipment. Follow the recommended procedure and use all recommended tooling to release the spring force. |

- Remove cover (5), spring (4), and O-ring seal (3) from the pilot pump.
