Removal Procedure

  1. Turn the battery disconnect switch to the off position.

  2. Drain the hydraulic oil. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, ""Hydraulic System Oil – Change"" for the correct draining and filling procedures.

  3. Use two people remove guard (1). The weight of guard (1) is approximately 25 kg (55 lb).

  4. Disconnect hose assemblies (2) and (3). Disconnect harness assembly (4).

  5. Disconnect cables (5), (6), and (7).

  6. Use two people to remove secondary steering pump and electric motor (9). Remove bolts (8) and (10). Remove secondary steering pump and electric motor (9). The weight of secondary steering pump and electric motor (9) is approximately 27 kg (60 lb).

Installation Procedure

  1. Install secondary steering pump and electric motor (9) in the reverse order of removal.
