Start By:
- Remove the final drive, the brake, the wheel, and the spindle.
- Remove bolts (1) and piston assembly (2). Remove O-ring seal (3).

Personal injury can result from being struck by parts propelled by a released spring force.
Make sure to wear all necessary protective equipment.
Follow the recommended procedure and use all recommended tooling to release the spring force.
- Position piston assembly (2) into a suitable press.
- Use Tooling (B) and the suitable press in order to compress springs (13). Compress springs (13) and remove retaining pins (12) from spring guides (11). Release the pressure from the suitable press.
- Remove springs (13) and spring guides (11) from piston assembly (2).

- Install piston housing (15) in the reverse order of removal.
- Lubricate O-ring seals (17) and (18) with the lubricant being sealed.
