  1. Install Tooling (A) on the flywheel. Use a suitable lifting device. The weight of the flywheel is approximately 40 kg (88 lb).

  2. Remove two bolts (1). Install Tooling (B).

  3. Remove remaining bolts (1) that hold the flywheel to the crankshaft . Remove flywheel (2).

  4. If necessary, use a hammer and a punch to remove ring gear (3) from the flywheel.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install flywheel (2) in the reverse order of removal.

  2. Tighten bolts (1) to a torque of 270 ± 40 N·m (200 ± 30 lb ft).
