1.1. Removal Procedure

Removal Procedure

NOTICE

Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting and repair of the product. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids.

Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, "AVSpare Dealer Service Tool Catalog" for tools and supplies suitable to collect and contain fluids on AVSpare products.

Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates.


Note: Put identification marks on all lines, on all hoses and on all wires for installation purposes. Plug all lines and all hoses. This will help to prevent fluid loss and this will help to keep contaminants from entering the system.

  1. Remove bolts (1), cap (2), and shims (3) from the lift cylinder rod. Note the quantity and the location of the shims for assembly purposes.

  1. Start the machine.

  1. Retract the lift cylinder rod.

  1. Stop the machine.

  1. Attach a suitable lifting device to stabilizer link (4). The weight of stabilizer link (4) is approximately 80 kg (175 lb).

  1. Remove bolts (5), retainer (6), and the pin (7) .

  1. Secure stabilizer link (4) to the machine. This will allow the machine to be moved.

  1. Release the pressure in the hydraulic system. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "System Pressure - Release".

  1. Disconnect hose assemblies (8).

  1. Position suitable blocking under push arm (9), as shown.

  1. Remove bolts (10), bearing cap (11), and the shims from push arm (9). Note the quantity and the location of the shims for assembly purposes.

  1. Repeat Steps 10 and 11 for the opposite side.

  1. Move the machine away from the push arm assembly (9) .
