Start By:

  1. Remove the brake calipers. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Hydraulic Caliper Service Brake - Remove".

  1. Place a suitable container under the housing assembly in order to contain the oil. Remove cover (1). Drain the oil into a suitable container for storage or disposal.

  1. Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to housing assembly (2). Remove bolts (4), cover (5), and shims (3). Remove housing assembly (2) .

  1. Remove bearing cone (7) and Duo-Cone seal (6) .

  1. Remove clamps (8) and seal ring retainer (9) .

  1. Attach a suitable lifting device to shaft assembly (11). Remove bolts (10) and shaft assembly (11) .
