"Avoidance Zone" (26) - The machine is near or in an avoidance zone.

"Parking Brake" (27) - The parking brake is engaged.

"Software Stop" (28) - The machine is in an electronic stop safe state.

"Active Fault" (29) - There are one or more active faults.

"Implement Lockout" (30) - The implements are locked out (disabled).

Active Fault Levels

During an active fault on the machine, the display will show the level of the machine fault. Refer to Table 8 . To check the specific fault, perform the following:

  1. The operator must lower implements to the ground.

  2. Activate the implement lockout switch.

  3. Set the parking brake.

  4. Turn the machine OFF.

  5. Check advisor display inside the cab for additional information regarding the fault.

Note: If possible park the machine on level ground.

The following are examples of parameters that may cause an active fault. Active faults are not limited to these examples:

  • Engine Coolant Temperature

  • Torque Converter Temperature

  • Hydraulic Temperature

  • Fuel Level-Percent Remaining

  • Implement ECM State

  • Power train ECM State

Table 2
Parameter  Active Fault LED State  Description
"------"  Off  No Active Fault
"LVL1"  Solid Yellow  Level 1 Warning
"LVL2"  Flashing Red  Level 2 Warning
"LVL3"  Flashing Red with Audible Alarm (1)(2)  Level 3 Warning
(1) The machine comes to a stop and terminates the RC session as soon as a level-3 event or diagnostic occurs. Can be overridden for 30 seconds at a time.
(2) Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, M0069794, "Machine Stopping" for regaining functionality on the Operator Console after a Software Stop (Safe Stop State) for a Level 3 stop.
