Probable Causes

  • The vehicle is not filled on a surface that is level and the vent is in a downward direction.

  • The receiver is improperly installed with a higher spring force.

  • Debris is on the screen for the inlet valve or the signal line is clogged.

  • Kink in the signal line.

Fuel leaked or spilled onto hot surfaces or electrical components can cause a fire.

Turn the disconnect switch OFF when draining and/or removing any fuel system components.


Recommended Actions

The Vehicle Is Not Filled On A Surface That Is Level And The Vent Is In A Downward Direction

Fill the vehicle on a surface that is level with the vehicle at less than a four degree angle.

The Receiver Is Improperly Installed With A Higher Spring Force

Obtain a receiver with the proper spring force.

Debris Is On The Screen For The Inlet Valve Or The Signal Line Is Clogged

Clean the screen for the inlet valve. Disassemble the signal line, and clean the signal line with 0.207 MPa (30 psi) maximum compressed air.

Refer to the appropriate module for your machine for the correct torque specifications.

Kink In The Signal Line

Ensure that the signal line is not kinked or bent from installation.
