With the key start switch in the ON position, 24 volt power is supplied from the batteries via circuit breaker #10 to the AVSpare Monitoring System and via circuit breaker #12 to the Power Train /Chassis ECM. The Power Train/Chassis ECM supplies 8 volt power to brake oil temperature sensor.
Brake oil temperature sensor (1) sends a Pulse Width Modulated (PWM) signal to Power Train/Chassis ECM (2). The Power Train/Chassis ECM sends a signal to AVSpare Monitoring System (3) via the AVS Data Link. The AVSpare Monitoring System turns on brake oil temperature alert indicator (4) when the temperature is not within a pre-set range. The AVSpare Monitoring System also sends the signal to the gauge module. The gauge module will display the brake oil temperature on brake oil temperature gauge (5).
