With the key start switch in the ON position, 24 volt power is supplied from the batteries via circuit breaker #10 to the AVSpare Monitoring System and via circuit breaker #12 to the Power Train/Chassis ECM. The Power Train/Chassis ECM supplies 8 volt power to the torque converter oil temperature sensor.
Torque converter oil temperature sensor (1) sends a Pulse Width Modulated (PWM) signal to Power Train/Chassis ECM (2). The Power Train /Chassis ECM sends a signal to AVSpare Monitoring System (3) via the AVS Data Link. Torque converter oil temperature alert indicator (4) will be on when the torque converter oil temperature is out of range.
