With the key start switch in the ON position, 24 volt power is supplied from the batteries via circuit breaker #10 to the AVSpare Monitoring System. 24 volt power is also supplied from the batteries via circuit breaker #3 and circuit breaker #11 to the Engine ECM. The Engine ECM supplies 5 volt power to the coolant temperature sensor.
Coolant temperature sensor (1) sends a signal to Engine ECM (2). The Engine ECM sends a signal via the AVS Data Link to AVSpare Monitoring System (3). The AVSpare Monitoring System sends a signal to gauge module (5) which indicates the engine coolant temperature on coolant temperature gauge (4).
