This value is utilized by the Product Link system for routing and displaying information. Please verify that the correct machine serial number is entered on any new or transferred installation. On AVSpare machines with the new 17-character PIN, the last eight characters are used for this value. This is shown in illustration 1. The serial number cannot start with a space. Do not abbreviate the serial number. The maximum length is seventeen characters. The example "1AA00123" should not be shortened to "1AA123". Do not use uppercase "O" instead of zero "0".
