One of AVSpare's primary concerns is customer safety. To increase safety in mining, AVSpare has developed Command for dozing applications. This system helps machine operators continue to mine while being out of the area of danger.

Applications

Recommended mining operation environments include (but are not limited to):

  • stockpile feeding

  • mining leach pads

  • high-wall toe operation

  • operating near an edge

  • operating around hazardous material

The Remote Control System is currently compatible with the D10T and D11T.

Once the Command system is installed on a compatible machine, that machine can be remotely controlled via the Operator Console or Operator Station. Command for dozing can utilize the Cat® Terrain system as an Avoidance System. Terrain can be configured to keep the remotely controlled machine in a defined worksite boundary while keeping the machine out of a number of defined avoidance zones.
