Warning Categories
The following recommendations are the recommended actions that need to be taken by the machine operator if a warning occurs:
Warning Category 1
In a Category 1 warning, the action lamp illuminates solid amber in color. A Category 1 warning will indicate that the operator should be aware of a condition of one or more of the machine systems.
Warning Category 2
In a Category 2 warning, the action lamp flashes red in color. The Category 2 warning requires a change in the machine operation or you must perform maintenance to the system. Changing the machine operation will reduce the excessive temperature in one of the systems or in more than one of the systems.
If the action lamp continues to flash, do not operate the machine. Possible damage to components on the machine may occur.
Warning Category 3
In a Category 3 warning, the action lamp flashes red in color. Also, the action alarm will produce a pulsating sound. The Category 3 warning requires an immediate, safe emergency shutdown of the machine. Possible injury to the operator or severe damage to components may occur if the machine is not shutdown.
Do not operate the machine until the cause has been corrected.

Action Alarm
If a Category 3 warning is active, the action alarm will sound a pulsating sound. A Category 3 warning requires an immediate safe machine shutdown. The action alarm will sound in order to alert the machine operator that immediate action is required.
Warning Messages
During the normal operation mode and the menu mode, the Messenger display may be interrupted by a warning message. Warning messages are displayed when important instructions or information need to be displayed.
If the warning is a Category 1 or a Category 2, the message may be acknowledged by pressing the "OK" button. When the "OK" button is pressed the message will disappear from the screen. Cycle the power in order to view the message of a Category 1 or a Category 2 warning after the message has been acknowledged.
If the severity of the warning is Category 3, the message will not be removable with the "OK" button. The message will only disappear when the problem no longer exists or when the machine is shut down.
The warning message gives indications of the problem. A troubleshooting diagnostic code and an instruction for the operator are displayed.
ReferenceRefer to Troubleshooting, KENR6327, "Event Code List" for a list of event codes for the machine that is being serviced.
Snooze A Warning
When a warning message is displayed on the Messenger display module, the warning message may be snoozed by pressing the "OK" button in order to acknowledge the warning. Each warning category will be snoozed for a different amount of time.
- Category 1 (10 hours)
- Category 2 (1 hour)
- Category 3 (5 minutes)
