(6) Torque for the adapter ... 430 ± 40 N·m (320 ± 30 lb ft)

(8) 4J-8224 Shim and 5J-4776 Shim are cylinder flow balance shims.

Thickness of one 4J-8224 Shim ... 0.25 mm (0.010 inch)

Thickness of one 5J-4776 Shim ... 0.12 mm (0.005 inch)

Two shims will change the timing of the steering at high idle by the following amount. ... 0.1 second

Note: The addition of one 4J-8224 Shim and of one 5J-4776 Shim will cause a faster right turn and a slower left turn. The removal of the shims will cause a slower right turn and a faster left turn.
