End play (clearance) of the idler shaft:

Minimum ... 0.38 mm (0.015 inch)
Maximum ... 1.24 mm (0.049 inch)

(A) Extension of the track idler shaft from the face of the seal collar on both sides ... 51.40 ± 0.13 mm (2.024 ± 0.005 inch)

(B) After assembly, the clear plug must not be recessed below the surface of the stopper. ... 0 to 5 mm (0.0 to 0.2 inch)

(C) Dimension for installing the stopper below the end of the track idler shaft ... 11 ± 4 mm (0.4 ± 0.2 inch)

(1) Apply 4C-5599 Anti-Seize Compound, to the track idler shaft press the block onto the track idler shaft until the shoulder of the block contacts the end of the track idler shaft.

(2) Lubricate the surface of the track idler shaft for the O-ring seals with the lubricant that is being sealed.

(3) Rubber toric seals must be clean and dry at assembly. All surfaces that contact the toric seals must be clean and dry at assembly. At assembly, apply a thin film of oil to the contacting surfaces of the metal seal. Seal rings must be assembled squarely with the bore. The toric ring must not bulge and the toric ring must not be twisted. Refer to Special Instruction, SEHS8364, "Assembly and Installation of Conventional Duo-Cone Seals".

(4) Torque for 24 bolts ... 85 ± 15 N·m (63 ± 11 lb ft)

(5) Lubricate the bore for the O-ring seals with the lubricant that is being sealed.

Note: Lubricate the bushing bore lightly with the lubricant that is being sealed.

(6) 6Y-1757 Bushing

Installation depth of the bushing on each side ... 13.0 ± 0.5 mm (0.51 ± 0.02 inch)
Bore diameter of the bushing after installation ... 127.25 ± 0.03 mm (5.0098 ± 0.0012 inch)
