Specification for 343-0588 Exhaust Manifold Gp

12  9X-6620 Locknut  Before assembly, apply 4C-5599 Anti-Seize Compound to the threads and bearing surfaces.
Torque to 55 ± 5 N·m (41 ± 4 lb ft).
Refer to Illustration 2 for the locknut tightening sequence. 
12  116-3715 Taperlock Stud  Torque tool speed should not exceed 100 rpm.
Torque to 35 ± 5 N·m (26 ± 4 lb ft)
324-9290 Bellows As  Assemble the bellows assembly with the “Flow Arrow” toward the NOx Reduction System (NRS) cooler.
The total maximum misalignment of the bellows assembly allowed between the NRS cooler and the exhaust manifold elbow is 1.5 mm (0.06 inch) lateral and 1.5 mm (0.06 inch) axial. 
9N-5085 Clamp  Torque to 7.5 ± 1.0 N·m (66.4 ± 8.9 lb in)
231-9030 Exhaust Manifold  Before assembly, apply thin coat of 2P-2333 High Temperature Sealer to the outside diameter of the male end of the exhaust manifold.
Remove the excess sealer from the assembled joints. 
283-2238 Gasket  Install the gasket with tab down as shown in Illustration 1. 
350-4502 Exhaust Manifold  Before assembly, apply thin coat of 2P-2333 High Temperature Sealer to the inside diameter of the female end of the exhaust manifold.
Remove the excess sealer from the assembled joints. 
376-3408 Taperlock Stud  Torque tool speed should not exceed 100 rpm.
Torque to 35 ± 5 N·m (26 ± 4 lb ft)
350-4503 Exhaust Manifold  Before assembly, apply thin coat of 2P-2333 High Temperature Sealer to the outside diameter of the male end of the exhaust manifold.
Remove the excess sealer from the assembled joints. 
Angle of the V-band clamp is 45 ± 10 degrees.
