Tube assembly to be tightened for single use. Tube is loosened or removed after tightening, tube is to be discarded and replaced. 
Use the following procedure to tighten the Fuel Lines (6):

1. Install bolts (3) and hand tighten the bolts.
2. Install a new fuel line (6). Hand tighten the fuel line nuts (7) on each end of the fuel line. Repeat for the remaining fuel lines.
3. Install clamps (1), (2), (4), and (5) for the fuel lines and install the nuts. Thread the nuts onto the studs by two full turns. Make sure that the rubber grommets are in place in clamps (1), (2), (4), and (5).
4. Tighten the fuel line nut (7) at the pump and the quill assemblies to a torque of 8 N·m (71 lb in). And stop. Turn nut an additional angle of 65 to 75 degree clockwise.
5. Tighten bolts (3) to standard torque.
6. Tighten the fuel line nut (7) at the fuel rail to a torque of 10 N·m (89 lb in). And stop. Turn nut an additional angle of 85 to 95 degree clockwise. Repeat for cylinders 1 to 6 .
7. Tighten the nuts for clamps (1), (2), (4), and (5) .
