Wheel Dozer:
834K (S/N: LWY614-615)
Wheel Loader:
988K (S/N: LWX520-523; TWX362-416)

Introduction

The problem that is identified below does not have a known permanent solution. Until a permanent solution is known, use the solution that is identified below.

Problem

Effective with the machine serial numbers listed above, LED signal lights were used. On some machines the lower LED voltage draw will not operate the flasher module for the turn indicators in the cab. The turn indicators in the instrument display stay on solid when the signal switch is activated. The signal lamps outside the cab work correctly and blink when the signal switch is activated.

Required Parts

Table 1
Required Parts
Item     Qty     Part Number     Description
1     1     327-8515     Signal Lamp Gp (LH)
2     1     327-6125     327-6125 Signal Lamp Gp (RH)
3     2     104-3601     Screw
4     2     8T-4127     Screw
5     8     9X-8256     Washer
6     4     5C-2874     Nut

Solution

Replace the front 339-3189 Marker Lamp Groups with 327-8515 Signal Lamp Gp (LH) and 327-6125 Signal Lamp Gp (RH). The rear signal lamp groups do not need to be replaced.
