Problem
The parts book did not capture the serial number break for the usage of the new flange assembly for the torque converter.
Solution
A new flange assembly is used on 226-7612 Torque Converter Gp . This will provide an improvement in assembly at the factory and an improvement to the bolted joint that is between the flange assembly and the rotating housing.
Torque converters (S/N: TCK1-1357) use the parts that are in Table 1.
