If administered after failure, use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.

The existing cushion hitch harness can fail on certain 621K, 623K, and 627K Wheel Tractor-Scrapers. If the existing cushion hitch harness fails it can result in intermittent faults or loss of various bowl and implement system functions.

PARTS DISPOSITION

Handle the parts in accordance with your Warranty Bulletin on warranty parts handling.

Rework Procedure

Replace the existing 533-4061 Cushion Hitch Harness with a new two-piece cushion hitch harness design consisting of a 582-8260 Harness and a 599-2788 Harness. The two piece harness design will route through the cushion hitch instead of over the top of the cushion hitch like the previous design.

Reference Special Instruction M0122448 "Procedure to Install an Updated Cushion Hitch Harness Assembly on Certain 621K, 623K and 627K Wheel Tractor-Scrapers" for the rework procedure to install the two piece harness design with updated routing.
