    (5) 321-5259 Bracket

    (A) 25.4 mm (1 inch)

    (B) 1127 ± 1.5 mm (44.4 ± 0.06 inch)

  1. Place bracket (5) onto post (4). The new location of bracket (5) is measured from the center of the bottom mounting hole to the center of the bracket. Tack weld the bracket in place. Finish this step by welding bracket (5) onto post (4) with a 3 mm (0.12 inch) fillet weld. Refer to Illustration 4 for the proper weld location.

    (6) 9C-4935 Plate

    (7) 318-4885 Handrail As

  1. Remove plate (6) from handrail (7) and retain the hardware.

    (9) Mounting hole

    (C) 54.2 mm (2.10 inch)

    (D) 971 ± 1.5 mm (38.22827 ± 0.06 inch)

  1. Measure up distance (D) from the center of hole (9) on handrail (7). The center of the bottom hole in plate (8) is the end point of measurement (D). Tack weld plate (8) onto handrail (7). Verify that the measurements for the new location for plate (8) are correct. Finish this step by welding plate (8) onto handrail (7) with a 3 mm (0.12 inch) fillet weld. Refer to Illustration 6 for the proper weld location.

    (7) 8X-5942 Block

    (10) 313-4601 Handhold As

  1. Remove plate (8) from handrail (10) and retain the hardware.

    (11) 8X-5942 Block

    (12) Mounting hole

    (E) 230.8 ± 2 mm (9.1 ± 0.10 inch)

    (F) 980 ± 2 mm (39 ± 0.10 inch)

    (G) 73.2 mm (3 inch)

  1. The new location for block (11) is found by measuring up distance (F) from the center of hole (12). The center of the bottom hole in block (11) is the end point of measurement (F). The next measurement is taken from the center of hole (12) to the center of the top hole in block (11) until distance (E) is reached. The center of the top hole in block (11) is the end point of measurement (E). Tack weld block (11) in place. Verify that the measurements for the new location of block (11) are correct. Finish this step by welding block (11) onto handrail (10) with a 3 mm (0.12 inch) fillet weld. Refer to Illustration 8 for the proper weld location.
