This special instruction covers the installation procedure for 346-2487 Harness As on AD45B S/N:CXM1-UP Underground Articulated Truck. Procedure
- Move the machine to a hard level surface away from operating machines and personnel.
- Engage the parking brake. Place wheel blocks in front of the wheels and behind the wheels.
- Turn the key start switch and battery disconnect switch to the OFF position.
- Open cover (1) .

- Remove two clips (4) and retain for installation purposes.

- Remove 267-9061 Cable As (2) from Fuse As (3) and circuit breaker (5). Discard 267-9061 Cable (2) .
- Install 346-2487 Harness As (9) between terminal (10) on 318-2082 Starting Motor Solenoid (6) and circuit breaker (5) as shown in Illustration 3.

- Secure 346-2487 Harness As (9) using two 033-8248 Clips (8), two clips (4) retained in Step 5, and three 5W-2226 Strap (7) as shown in Illustration 3.
