This special instruction covers the installation procedure for 346-2487 Harness As on AD30 S/N:DXR1-UP Underground Articulated Truck. Procedure
- Move the machine to a hard level surface away from operating machines and personnel.
- Engage the parking brake. Place wheel blocks in front of the wheels and behind the wheels.
- Turn the key start switch and battery disconnect switch to the OFF position.
- Open cover (1) .

- Disconnect 309-2167 Cable As (3) from circuit breaker (2) (not shown) and from isolator (5). Discard 309-2167 Cable As (3) .

- Connect existing 318-2161 Cable As (4) to isolator (5) .
- Install 346-2487 Harness As (6) between terminal (10) on 318-2082 Starting Motor Solenoid (8) and circuit breaker (2) as shown in Illustration 3.

- Secure 346-2487 Harness As (6) using five 4D-7794 Clip (7) and three 5W-2226 Strap (9) as shown in Illustration 3.
