Hydraulic Control Support

Illustration 1g00996834

Push knob (1) downward in order to slide the entire console forward or backward. Release the knob in order to lock the console into position.

Lift up lever (2) and adjust armrest (3) to the desired height. Release the lever in order to lock the armrest into position.

Lift Control

Illustration 2g00996838

FLOAT (1) - Push the lever forward into the detent. The bucket will lower to the ground. The bucket will follow the contour of the ground.

The lever will remain in the FLOAT position until the lever is pulled out of the detent. The lever will return to the HOLD position when the lever is released.

NOTICE

Never use the FLOAT position to lower a loaded bucket.

Machine damage can result from a bucket that falls too fast.

LOWER (2) - Push the lever forward in order to lower the bucket. The lever will return to the HOLD position when the lever is released.

HOLD (3) - The lever will return to the HOLD position when the lever is released from the RAISE position or from the LOWER position. The bucket will remain in the selected position.

RAISE (4) - Pull the lever backward in order to raise the bucket. Release the lever in order to stop lifting the bucket. The lever will return to the HOLD position when the lever is released.

The lever is detented in the fully raised position. The lever will stay in the detent and the bucket will continue to rise until the bucket reaches the lift kickout height. Then, the lever will return to the HOLD position.

Note: On later machines with pilot hydraulic bucket controls, the operator must perform one lift cycle before the electromagnetic detents are energized. This feature prevents movement of the attachment at start-up if the lever has been accidentally moved to the detent.

Tilt Control

Illustration 3g00996842

DUMP (1) - Push the lever forward in order to dump a load from the bucket.

HOLD (2) - When you release the lever, the lever will return the HOLD position. The bucket will remain in the selected position.

TILT BACK (3) - Pull the lever backward in order to tilt the bucket backward.

The lever is detented in the full TILT BACK position. The lever will stay in the detent and the bucket will continue to tilt back until the bucket reaches the digging angle that is preset by the tilt kickout. Then, the lever returns to the HOLD position.

Note: A machine with ride control may experience partial lowering of the lift arms when the lever is held in the DUMP position with the bucket against the bucket stops and the lift arms are fully raised. To avoid partial lowering of the lift arms, return the lever to the HOLD position.

Multipurpose Bucket Control (If Equipped)

Illustration 4g00996845

CLOSE (1) - Push the control lever forward in order to close the bucket. When you release the control lever, the control lever will return to the HOLD position.

HOLD (2) - When you release the control lever, the control lever will return to the HOLD position. The bucket will remain in the current position.

OPEN (3) - Pull the control lever rearward in order to open the bucket. When you release the control lever, the control lever will return to the HOLD position.

Side Dump Lever (If Equipped)

Illustration 5g00996845

DUMP (1) - Push the control lever forward in order to dump the bucket. When you release the control lever, the control lever will return to the HOLD position.

HOLD (2) - When you release the control lever, the control lever will return to the HOLD position. The bucket will remain in the current position.

RETURN (3) - Pull the control lever rearward in order to return the bucket. When you release the control lever, the control lever will return to the HOLD position.

Logging Fork Clamp Control (If Equipped)

Illustration 6g00996845

CLOSE (1) - Push the control lever forward in order to close the logging fork clamp. When you release the control lever, the control lever will return to the HOLD position.

HOLD (2) - When you release the control lever, the control lever will return to the HOLD position. The logging fork clamp will remain in the current position.

OPEN (3) - Pull the control lever rearward in order to open the logging fork clamp. When you release the control lever, the control lever will return to the HOLD position.

Hydraulic Lockout

Illustration 7g00996847

The implement lockout switch is on the hydraulic control console.

LOCKED - Push the top of switch (1) in order to lock the implement controls.

UNLOCKED - Press the small button on switch (1) and push the bottom of switch (1) in order to unlock the implement controls.
