NOTICE

Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting and repair of the product. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids. Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, "AVSpare Dealer Service Tool Catalog" for tools and supplies suitable to collect and contain fluids on AVSpare products. Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates.

Operate the machine for a few minutes before obtaining the oil sample. This will thoroughly mix the engine oil for a more accurate sample.

Open the engine hood.

The in-line sampling valve is located on the right side of the engine compartment.

On Low Sound machines and Blue Angel machines, the in-line sampling valve for the engine oil is located on the right side of the engine near the number two secondary fuel filter.

Use the in-line sampling valve in order to obtain a sample of engine oil.
Close the engine hood.
