HYDRAULIC SCRAPERS Controls
1.1. Bowl Control Lever
2.1. Apron Control Lever
3.1. Bowl-Apron Control Lever
4.1. Ejector Control Lever

The scraper hydraulic system controls are mounted on the tractor to the right of the operator. They consist of three levers. The front lever is the bowl control lever, the middle lever controls the apron, and the rear lever controls the ejector. A single lever bowl-apron control attachment is available.

Bowl Control Lever

Raise position (1) is obtained by pulling the bowl control lever toward the operator. Release the lever as the hydraulic cylinder rods approach the end of the stroke.

BOWL CONTROL LEVER POSITIONS
1-Raise. 2-Hold. 3-Lower.

Hold position (2) will hold the bowl in the desired position when the bowl control lever is released.

Lower position (3) is obtained by pushing the bowl control lever away from the operator. Pushing control lever through the lower position will allow the quick drop valve to open and drop the bowl faster for pump loading.

Release the control lever when the cylinder rods have reached the limit of their strokes to stop oil from by-passing the valves and also reduce heat and wear.

Apron Control Lever

Raise position (1) is obtained by pulling the apron control lever toward the operator. Release the lever as the hydraulic cylinder rod approaches the end of the stroke.

Hold position (2) will hold the apron in the desired position when the apron control lever is released.

Lower position (3) is obtained by pushing the apron control lever away from the operator.

Float position (4) is obtained by pushing the apron control lever through the lower position where it will remain until the lever is pulled to the lower position.

APRON CONTROL LEVER POSITIONS
1-Raise. 2-Hold. 3-Lower. 4-Float.

SINGLE LEVER BOWL-APRON CONTROL
1-Apron lower position. 2-Operator's handle.

Bowl-Apron Control Lever

The single bowl-apron control attachment replaces, only the standard bowl control lever and controls the bowl RAISE, HOLD and LOWER positions and only the lowering of the apron.

Operation of the apron by the standard apron control lever remains unchanged.

To lower the apron with the single lever bowl-apron control, move the operator's handle (2) of the control lever, forward, to apron lower position (1).

Ejector Control Lever

Forward position (1) is obtained by pulling the ejector control lever toward the operator. Release the lever as the hydraulic cylinder rod approaches the end of the stroke.

Hold position (2) will hold the ejector in the desired position when the ejector control lever is released.

EJECTOR CONTROL LEVER POSITIONS
1-Forward. 2-Hold. 3-Return. 4-Lockout.

Return position (3) is obtained by pushing the ejector control lever away from the operator.

Lockout position (4) is obtained by pushing the ejector control lever through the return position where hydraulic oil pressure holds the control lever in lockout position. When the control lever is in lockout position, the operator can release it and continued return of the ejector to the rear position can be realized. When the ejector is fully returned, or the apron control lever or bowl control lever is actuated, the hydraulic oil pressure is reduced and the ejector control lever returns to hold position.

Anti-Jackknife Stops: Anti-jackknife stops are provided on this machine for operator safety and to limit turning. Should the machine get out of control for any reason whatsoever during pusher loading, traveling, or turning, this feature will protect the operator. In turning short, leave a slight clearance between the anti-jackknife stop on the hitch assembly and the stop on the draft frame. This will insure keeping both rear wheels of the scraper on the ground, and the machine remaining under control.
