Install the shims in position (1) or in position (2) in order to obtain the desired angle for the cutting edge. Refer to the table.

- Lower the bulldozer blade to the ground.

- Drive the machine forward in order to obtain the clearance for the removal of the shims. Drive the machine rearward in order to obtain the clearance for the removal of the shims. Drive the machine forward in order to obtain the clearance for the assembly of the shims. Drive the machine rearward in order to obtain the clearance for the assembly of the shims.
- Remove the shims and change the shims in order to obtain the desired pitch.
- Tighten four bolts (3).
- Tighten all four bolts until the shims and the mounting block faces are secure.
- Turn four bolts by 90 degrees.
- Turn four bolts by an additional 90 degrees.
This procedure will give the four bolts the proper mounting torque.
