NOTICE

When the steering lever is moved with the transmission in NEUTRAL or in gear, and the engine is running, the machine will turn. Engage the steering control lock by engaging the parking brake in order to prevent machine movement.

When you operate the machine, make sure that the floorplate is installed at all times. Lines and components are located below the operator's compartment. These lines contain fluids under high pressure.

When the machine is moving forward, push the steering lever forward for a left turn. When the machine is moving backward, push the steering lever forward for a right turn.

When the machine is moving forward, pull the steering toward the operator for a right turn. When the machine is moving backward, pull the steering lever toward the operator for a left turn.

Push the knob for the parking brake downward in order to allow movement of the steering and directional lever.

Steering Lever

Left Turn (Counterclockwise) (1) - When the machine is moving forward, push the steering lever forward for a left turn. When the machine is moving backward, push the steering lever forward for a right turn. When you move the steering lever farther in a forward motion, the machine will turn faster.

No Steer (Straight) (2) - Release the steering lever in order to allow the machine to move in a straight line in either direction. If you release the steering lever from position (1) or from position (3), the steering lever will return to the NO STEER position.

Right Turn (Clockwise) (3) - When the machine is moving forward, pull the steering lever toward the operator for a right turn. When the machine is moving backward, pull the steering lever toward the operator for a left turn. When you move the steering lever farther in a backward motion, the machine will turn faster.

Directional Lever

Neutral (4) - Rotate the twist handle on the lever to the NEUTRAL position in order to move the transmission to NEUTRAL.

Forward (5) - Rotate the twist handle on the lever forward to the FORWARD position in order to move the transmission to FORWARD.

Reverse (6) - Rotate the twist handle on the lever backward to the REVERSE position in order to move the transmission to REVERSE.
