Heating System Operation and Air Conditioning System Operation

Illustration 4g00102382

The heating and air conditioning system can perform four functions:

Heating - Turn the blower fan switch to LOW, HIGH or DEFROSTING speed. Adjust the temperature variable control for the desired temperature.

Air Conditioning - Activate the air conditioning system. Turn the blower fan switch to LOW, HIGH or DEFOGGING speed. Adjust the temperature variable control for the desired temperature.

Pressurizing - When heating or cooling is not desired, pressurize the cab in order to prevent dust from entering.

Turn the temperature variable controls to a comfortable stage. Turn the blower fan switch to LOW, HIGH, or DEFROSTING speed. Use the fan speed that is needed to keep out the dust.

Defogging - Activate the air conditioning system. Turn the blower fan switch for the air conditioner to LOW, HIGH, or DEFOGGING speed. Use the fan speed that is needed to remove moisture from the air in the cab. This prevents moisture from forming on the windshield and the windows. Adjust the temperature control until the moisture level is lowered. Adjust the temperature control until the temperature of the cab is comfortable.
