Do not crank the engine for more than 30 seconds. Allow the starting motor to cool for two minutes before cranking again. Turbocharger (if equipped) damage can result, if the engine rpm is not kept low until the engine oil light/gauge verifies the oil pressure is sufficient. |

- Move the transmission direction and speed control to the NEUTRAL position.
- Unlock the steering column. Move the steering column to the desired position and lock the steering column.
- Engage the parking and secondary brake.

- Move the apron control and the ejector control to the HOLD position.
- Turn the engine start switch key in order to start the engine. Release the engine start switch key when the engine starts.
