834B and 836 Landfill Compactor Cab Air Filter - Clean/Replace

If you notice a reduction of cab air circulation or the machine is being operated in dusty conditions, clean the cab air filters more often.

  1. Loosen two screws (1) and remove cover (2) from the ceiling of the operator compartment.

  1. Remove two sponge type filters (3) .

  1. Pull down on filter mounting brackets (4). Remove wire mesh filter (5) .

  1. Wash the filters in a nonsudsing household detergent.

  1. Rinse the filters in clean water. Squeeze the sponge type filters in order to remove the water. Allow the wire mesh filter to dry.

  1. Install wire mesh filter (5). Pull up filter mounting brackets (4) .

  1. Install two sponge type filters (3) .

  1. Install cover (2) and tighten two screws (1) .
