  1. Open the engine access cover that is on the right side of the machine.

  1. Turn inlet valve (1) and outlet valve (2) clockwise in order to close the inlet valve and the outlet valve.

  1. Remove coolant conditioner element (3). Discard the element.

  1. Clean the filter mounting base. Ensure that all of the old element seal is removed.

  1. Install a new coolant conditioner element. Consult your AVSpare dealer for the correct element to use on your machine.

  1. Coat the element seal with a thin coat of clean engine oil.

  1. Install the element. Turn the element until the seal contacts the base. Then, turn the element for an additional three quarter of a turn.

  1. Turn inlet valve (1) and outlet valve (2) counterclockwise in order to open the inlet valve and the outlet valve.

  1. Start the engine. Check the system for leaks. Allow the coolant level to stabilize.

  1. If necessary, add premixed coolant in order to bring the coolant within 13 mm (.5 inch) of the bottom of the filler pipe. Add premixed coolant in order to bring the coolant to the proper level on the sight glass, if equipped.

  1. Close the access cover.
