Lower all equipment before servicing Traxcavator.
Block bucket before changing cutting edge.
Use caution when removing radiator cap, drain plugs, grease fittings or pressure taps.
Do not attempt adjustments while Traxcavator is moving or the engine is running.
Use the proper tools. Change or replace broken or damaged equipment.
Wear safety equipment as the job requires.
Do not allow unauthorized personnel on the Traxcavator.
Operate engine only in well ventilated area.
When using pressure air wear safety glasses and protective clothing. Maximum air pressure must be below 30 PSI (2 kg/cm2).
Clamp lift arm support bracket to lift cylinder piston rod or engage support link on the right loader frame and lock in position before servicing engine area. Support bracket is stored at rear of machine.
Store oily rags and other combustible material in a safe place.
Promote good housekeeping. Keep tools and work area clean.
Do not smoke while refueling.
Do not attempt repairs you do not understand.
Attach tags to controls while Traxcavator is being serviced.
Turn disconnect switch OFF and remove key before servicing electrical system.

Always install support bracket before working under or around raised lift arms. |
Support Bracket
- 1. Remove support bracket from storage location.
- 2. Install the support bracket.
