(21)Scraper Engine Crankcase
Machine level, scraper lowered, parking brake set, oil warm and engine stopped.
- 1. Remove crankcase drain plug.
- 2. Open drain valve and drain oil.
- 3. Remove filter base drain plug. Allow housings to drain.
- 4. Remove covers and used elements. Clean inside of housings.
- 5. Clean covers and inspect seals. Install new seals if necessary.
- 6. Install new elements. Install covers. Tighten covers to 50 ± 10 lb. ft. (6,9 ± 1.5 mkg).
- 7. Clean and install filter base drain plug.
- 8. Close crankcase drain valve.
- 9. Clean and install drain plug.
- 10. Fill crankcase. See REFILL CAPACITIES.
- 11. Start engine to fill filter housings. Check for leaks. Stop engine and check oil level.
(22)Tractor Engine Crankcase
Machine level, scraper lowered, parking brake set, oil warm and engine stopped.
- 1. Remove crankcase drain plug.
- 2. Open drain valve and allow oil to drain.
- 3. Close crankcase drain valve.
- 4. Clean and install crankcase drain plug.
- 5. Fill crankcase. See REFILL CAPACITIES.
- 6. Start engine and run at low idle to check for leaks.
- 7. Stop engine. Check oil level.
Cartridge Type Engine Oil Filters
- 1. Open filter base drain valve.
- 2. Remove 3 filter covers and elements. Clean covers and housings.
- 3. Check cover seals and install new seals if necessary.
- 4. Install new elements. Install covers and tighten to (50 ± 10 lbs. ft. (6,9 ± 1,5 mkg).
- 5. Close filter base drain valve.
- 6. Start engine and run at low idle to fill filters. Check for leaks.
- 7. Stop engine. Check oil level. Add oil as necessary.
