NOTICE

Machine level, scraper lowered, ejector forward, parking brake set and engine stopped.

Move hydraulic controls to help relieve pressure.


1. Remove tank filler cap slowly to relieve pressure.

2. Remove filter and cap assembly from tank.

2. Remove filter and cap assembly from tank.
3. Remove used element. Wash cap assembly with clean solvent.
4. Allow to dry.

5. Inspect cover seals. Use new seals if necessary.

6. Install new element. Install filter assembly in tank.
7. Install tank cap.
8. Start engine and run at low idle to fill filter.
9. Check for leaks.

10. Stop engine and check oil level. Add oil if necessary.

(23)Transmission System


NOTICE

Machine level, scraper lowered, parking brake set and engine stopped.


1. Remove filter drain plug.

2. Remove cover and used element. Clean filter housing.
3. Remove element and wash cover with clean solvent.
4. Inspect seals. Use new seals if necessary.
5. Install new element. Tighten retaining nut to 10 ± 2 lb. ft. (14 ± 0,3 mkg).

6. Coat seals with clean oil.
7. Install cover and element carefully to avoid damage to seals.
8. Clean and install drain plug.
9. Start engine and run at low idle to warm the oil and fill drained housing.
10. Check for leaks.

11. Check oil level with engine running. Maintain oil level to FULL mark on dipstick.
