Do not allow unauthorized personnel on machine when it is being serviced.
Store oily rags and other combustible material in a safe place.
Promote good housekeeping. Keep tools and work area clean.
Do not attempt repairs you do not understand.
Operate engine only in well ventilated area.
When using pressure air, wear safety face shield and protective clothing. Use 30 PSI (2 kg/cm2) maximum pressure air for cleaning purposes. |
Do not attempt adjustments while tractor-scraper is moving or engine is running.
Use caution when removing radiator cap, drain plugs, grease fittings or pressure taps.
Wear safety glasses, safety shoes, and other safety equipment as required.
Do not smoke while refueling.
Replace or repair broken or damaged equipment. Use proper tools.
Attach tags to controls while tractor-scraper is being serviced.
Turn disconnect switch OFF and remove key before servicing electrical system.
